Today was full of long classes. I woke up bright and early for my animal physiology practical, where I worked with a toad's in vitro heart to measure heart rate. This was a really boring lab as I did the exact same thing last semester with daphnia, but the fact that this toad's heart kept beating after it was cut out of the dead body I thought was pretty cool! In the break between my classes, I hung out with some arcadia friends and found a coffee shop on campus with two dollar coffee! Too bad I don't like coffee, but I like the idea that if one day I decided I wanted to start drinking coffee, I now know where I can it cheap! The best part of it, too, is that when we were sitting there at the cafe, a guy playing the saxophone came out and started playing the sexy sax man song and it pretty much made my life. If you have not heard of sexy sax man, look it up on youtube! It's so funny!
After my second class (which was just far too long), I headed over to work to learn how to use the machine used to take orders. So starting Friday, I'll be able to actually be a legitimate server! Finally! I won't have to ask someone to just put in a second drink order for a table, I'll be able to do it myself!
